New Washington State Regulatory Tax Change

Effective October 1^st, 2025, Washington state will impose a sales tax on armored car services.  This regulatory requirement means Empyreal will now have to collect this sales tax from our Washington state clients who are not exempt under the regulation and remit that tax to the state.  If your organization is affected by this tax, you will see this new fee starting on your monthly invoice dated 10/31/2025.

As noted above, some retail businesses or organizations may be exempt from this armored car services tax.  If your organization is exempt, please submit your exemption certificate to Empyreal Logistics by emailing us at WATaxExemption@empyreallogistics.com.
